not sure why somone would buy it on the VC when they can get it for free on the PC but its is defiantly worth money.
I still dont see the update. They really should do some more testing before releasing an update, especially with their first party games. It took all of 5 mins of playing uncharted to realize it wasnt working properly.
I dont care if they are "looking in to it" I want the fix now. knowing sony they will release a fix that breaks something else.

NZ guy I had the same problem with UC. This might help if you really want to play it.
1. use a usb memory stick and the backup utility to backup your data. then sync your trophy data to the psn servers(as it wont backup your trophies on the usb stick)
2. Use the 'format utility' or 'restore ps3 system' to do a QUICK FORMAT of the ps3.
3. use the saved data to restore you saves and settings.
After doing this I was able to get uncharted...
they need to get working on a fix for 3.0. as I really want to finish uncharted without having to use my pain is the butt fix every time it freezes.
SD tv looks better on Hd tvs(as you can choose to watch with bars on the side for a square picture), especially as more and more channels broadcast in widescreen. Also youll find with standard cable taht you also get some of the main channels in HD too. I have had standard brighthouse and standard comcast cable and both of them had around 5-10 HD channels for no extra cost.

if you cant get a wire to it. I dont see why you would want to use a potentially less stable connection that you have to pay extra for unless you cant use a wire for some reason.
I found a temporary fix, that works for me on uncharted. Use the backup utility to backup your data on a usb stick, then do the QUICK format and use the restore utility to get back your settings and saves. Make sure you sync your trophies first as those arnt saved.
Once I did this I could get my game to load. Unfortunately it will still freeze sometimes and once it does you have to do this again or it wont load. Not sure if it will work for everyone, but it has worked twice ...
but I cant argue that NES was one of the systems that deserved the #1 spot. If your were born around the same time as me(1986) then NES was almost defiantly the first system you played and most likely the reason you ended up getting another system.

but I think most multi console people will choose 360, unless they already dont pay for live. I have both and prefer the 360 pad for FPS. I also have a bunch of real life friends with a 360. Also, after seeing the hacking on PS3 Cod 4 get out of control vs the 360, I think 360 has more tools to fight the hackers(in general there will be less hackers when they have the chance to loose their 50$). but I actually agree with him on sony testing FW. One of the main games having problems is their own first party game uncharted. And yes I have a slim and uncharted has frozen on me over 10 times, and it only took a whole 5 min of playing it before it froze on me the first time.
